Dr Cheng-Yu Hung (Yoyo)
Principal Dentist
Dr Yoyo has proudly called the Sunshine Coast home since 2019, quickly falling in love with the region’s beautiful hinterland and welcoming community. After graduating from Griffith University, he gained valuable experience working across Queensland before deciding to settle permanently on the Sunshine Coast.
Dr Yoyo enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is particularly passionate about oral surgery and helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable during their visits. He believes in providing practical, long-term dental care tailored to each patient’s needs and budget.
Outside the clinic, Dr Yoyo enjoys watching soccer and staying active through running and hiking. He also occasionally trains for triathlons, making the most of the Sunshine Coast’s outdoor lifestyle.
Jasmyn
Practice Manager
Jasmyn has been a vital part of dental teams since 2014. Having worked in almost every clinical role, she knows exactly how to make your visit run smoothly. She’s committed to providing Palmwoods families with honest, welcoming care and clear information every step of the way.
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her outdoors with her dogs, Enzo and Willow.
Dr Joni Neal
Dentist
Dr Joni graduated from The University of Queensland in 2010 and has built a career grounded in evidence-based care, genuine connection and a commitment to helping patients achieve their best health outcomes. Joni is particularly known for her gentle, calm and compassionate approach, taking the time to make every patient feel comfortable and understood.
Joni especially enjoys treating children and understands that visiting a healthcare professional can sometimes feel overwhelming or frightening. For anxious patients, she provides extra patience, reassurance and care, allowing them to feel safe and supported at their own pace.
With a warm and approachable manner, Joni takes the time to understand each patient as an individual and tailors care to their needs, goals and circumstances. Outside of work, Joni enjoys camping and hiking and spending time outdoors with her three children and two dogs. She is also a proud pet owner to Banana, her much-loved pet snake.
Teneil
Lead Dental Assistant
Teneil has called the Sunshine Coast home since 2023. She loves helping patients feel at ease and comfortable throughout their visit. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her at the gym, reading a good book, or enjoying the beach.
